Busting Through The Van Allan Belt
Album Review
By: Saint Andreux

------------------------------------------------------
Sitting here with "Bursting Through The Van Allen Belt,"

a fine piece of work released on Cleopatra, and I
have to say that Helios' guitar work is interesting to
compare to someone, say... GILMOUR.

Gilmour has his little licks down, and well. They're nice,
friendly little licks that add perks to PF's material. Not
abrasive or anything.

Now, you have Helios Creed, whom I've heard most

of his later (1990+) stuff and a song or two of CHROME
(if ANYONE can make me dubs of Chrome, I will
THANK YOU). Helios' guitar licks tend to be a bit
more punctual. Short, sharp little licks, but with
a higher intensity than Gilmour.

And, Helios uses more effects. And, that's a good thing.

HEY, SOD OFF. I MENTIONED PINK FLOYD.
